We’re delighted that our work for Nesta on potential futures for the phenomenon known as the sharing or collaborative economy has now been published. We were asked to use existing official data sources to flesh out a number of scenarios around how the collaborative economy might develop. We responded to a number of different themes and trends identified by Nesta - from the rise of the micro-entrepreneur to opportunities for using collaborative techniques to reduce carbon emissions, as well as some trickier aspects such as the role for competition policy and local distributed networks. Here’s the link again: we are grateful to Nesta for their collaboration and partnership.
